Jersey Schools Review Framework

The Jersey Schools Review is an independent assessment of the quality of education in all Government of Jersey primary and secondary schools in Jersey.

From September 2022, a team of reviewers will visit each school for 3 days and will write a report on their findings. All schools will be reviewed within a 2 year period. It's our intention that all schools will have been reviewed by December 2024, when we will start the process again.

Jersey College Preparatory School was reviewed from 21 to 23 November 2023. You can find the full report here

Mrs Precious commented on the report saying: "I am incredibly pleased that the report shows the many strengths of our school, such as our strong pastoral care and the breadth and range of our curriculum and wider opportunities, to name but a couple of the highlights.

The team were also very impressed by the children of JCP, their manners, behaviour and attitude to learning were commented upon by the whole team.

There are, of course as with any review, points for improvement. All points highlighted by the review team were already points for action in our school development plan. This alone, demonstrates the strength of the school leadership team.

The whole school will continue to work on developing these points and further improving our offer for our children and families.I am extremely proud of the whole school, not only for our incredibly positive report, but for how everyone approached the review visit – simply determined to show our school at it’s best."
