Rights Respecting School and Anti-Bullying Week
JCP is committed to being a Rights Respecting School. We have now achieved our Bronze status and are on our way to gaining our Silver award. We are working together as a school, led by our Steering Group, to understand what rights children have and how the Articles support these rights.
Next week it is Anti-Bullying Week and the children will be given opportunities to support their understanding of bullying. We will also be linking these activities to Articles 2, 12 and 19, whereby all children have the right to be treated equally, their views be heard and to be protected from harm (such as physical, verbal and cyber bullying).
