Jèrriais activities

Year 4 had a wonderful time recently playing Norman games with the Jèrriais Teaching Service.

The Service have also been working with schools across the island this month in preparation for the upcoming Corn Riots Festival. There will be an opportunity to meet the team in the Royal Square on Saturday 1st October to play Norman games from 11am-12.30pm, then there will be a Jèrriais singing performance by a mixed school choir from 2.30pm and, following this, children will be welcome to join in with some traditional dancing. The lunchtime Jèrriais club for Years 4,5 and 6 will be starting up again on Monday 3rd October between 12:30 and 13:00 in the library. If you have children in these year groups, please refer to the email sent about this for further information.
