Grounds Development

News

We have had a good deal of work undertaken over the course of the summer break – some of which was supposed to have been undertaken earlier in the year but was delayed as you can imagine.

  • The Old Caretaker’s house – Claremont Lodge – has gone! This work was originally scheduled for Easter and is the first part of an ambitious plan to build a modern, state-of-the-art Music Centre for the College – more details on this to follow.
  • Pathway to KS1 playground – this has been widened for two-way traffic! Unfortunately the low-level play equipment, part of which still remains, has had its day and is in urgent need of replacing, so we took the opportunity to remove part of it and widen the path to make it easier for parents to get to and from the lower playground. We will be looking at replacing the old equipment in due course.
  • Medical Room – we have extended the back of the school office to create a small medical room. This will also double up as additional administration working space.
