It has been a very busy summer with many trades on site improving facilities for the children both inside and out.

I am delighted to announce the all the toilets on the ground floor, for Reception and KS1 children, have been completely replaced with brand new, modern facilities. It is my intention to do likewise for our KS2 pupils next summer too!

Outside you will have seen – and probably even tried out – our newly installed ramp from the top waiting circle to the front Office. A much-needed addition to enhance our disabled access and for parents with buggies! We are looking to further landscape this area over the autumn and winter months ahead.

We have also had new fencing erected along the outside of the Forest School area, sheds have been fixed and gates replaced where needed. The refurbishment of the play equipment outside the Music Room is nearly done. The new surface has been laid and we are now just waiting for the arrival of the ropes, which will link it all together.

We will continue to look at our facilities, both inside and out, to ensure that we keep on developing and replacing as necessary so that the learning environments for the children are the best that we can make them.Unfortunately, the start of building the much-anticipated College Music Centre (to be built where the old Caretaker’s house was) has been delayed and will now commence in the Spring of 2022. It is expected to take just over a year to complete.
