Jersey Architecture Competition Win

On Friday, several members of our year 6 classes took part in a bridge building competition as part of an inter-school challenge for Jersey Architecture Week.

A total of 127 students took part in the challenge; to build the sturdiest and best designed bridge, spanning a gap of 50 cm, using copies of the JEP, masking tape, cereal boxes and other recyclables.

The primary school competition was won by one of our teams, team ‘Mells’.

Their bridge was able to hold the weight of 50 chocolate bars and they won £500 for the school!

Well done to everybody involved!
